Yesterday I was a year older and celebrated my 40th birthday.
I was originally planning to celebrate it on a 2 days celebration.
The 1st celebration would be with my husband on a spa date somewhere in Makati
while my 2nd celebration would be with my 2 kids and my husband and was scheduled to go to Lucban Quezon for a farm tour and swimming on a Saturday weekend.

Unfortunately, due to the recent global pandemic of Corona Virus, all my birthday plans did not materialize.
Am I sad? not really just a little. I know I can celebrate my future birthdays when things got better.
Somehow the Corona Virus let me think of so many things.
The important and less important things.
The Corona Virus is so strong that it had forced countries around the world to implement lockdown and community quarantine. The spread of the virus was so quick that death tolls around the globe were rising rapidly.
But there is a positive effect on the community quarantine and lockdown. And our Mother Nature is happier than ever. She is now healing on its own. To see is to believe, get ready to be wowed by the beauty of mother nature!

Have you seen the beautiful Manila Skyline lately? Seen behind the tall buildings is the magnificent Sierra Madre. Also known as the “backbone of Luzon,” Sierra Madre is the longest mountain range in the Philippines. It covers the northeast coast of Luzon island, serving as a natural shield against typhoons coming from the Pacific Ocean. The range also comprises numerous watersheds that serve the adjacent agricultural lands in Central Luzon and Cagayan Valley. Furthermore, it supports major infrastructure, including irrigation dams, water utility and power plants, that are serving urban settlements, including Metro Manila.

After the enhanced community quarantine Sierra Madre is now visible mighty and beautiful brought about by the less air pollution in the whole Metro Manila. I am praying fervently that the human race would be extra cautious and be responsible to take care of the environment. The Corona Virus is a clear sign that Mother Earth was so badly mistreated and abused. We must learn from our past mistakes so that the future generation will never suffer again from a deadly virus or any calamities due to man's neglect of the environment.
I was yesterday greeted by a former office co-worker. Her name is Princess, a young beautiful lady with so much positive vibe and charisma. Her PM message was a delight.
Counting your blessing will help you be on the positive side.
It brings you to a better perspective.
You are so blessed if you have a family who loves and cherishes you dearly.
You are so blessed if you have work that is waiting for you.
You are so blessed to have friends and colleagues that are so concern of your well being that they make entertaining videos from TikTok just to bring a smile to your faces. (Hey! Sheila you are so great!!!)
You are so blessed if you have enough supply of food in your homes.
You are so blessed if you have homes to protect you from the rain and storm.
You are so blessed you can be part of the great wealth transfer of our generation.
You are so blessed you have our dear Lord to protect you from all the harm of the Corona Virus.
But please don't just be dependent on our Lord, for his protection. Be responsible also for your safety.
You are so blessed you are a Filipino, resilient, and strong. But please follow the government's orders. Stay home when you are not called out as a front liner.
We are all so blessed that there are so many brave and dedicated front liners facing their daily battle against the Corona Virus.
You are doing a huge impact on eradicating the spread of the virus if you just stay home and keep your surroundings clean and sanitize.
Let us help all the brave front liners in their fight against the Corona Virus.
If you have a generous heart and have extra money please donate to the Public and Private Hospitals they need PPE's, testing kits and so much more.
If you care for your bank tellers please go to the bank only when it is necessary. You can do your transactions through online banking. In this way, the bank teller and the whole bank personnel and you will be safe from any virus transmission.

One of my birthday wishes is that everybody in my family and relatives, my colleagues, friends, office mates, and all the front liners be safe from the dreaded Corona Virus.
And our beloved country the Philippines together with the whole world can claim victory over our greatest fight against the Corona Virus!
