This time of the year is my once a year hair ritual of hair treatment and hair rebond. A woman's hair is her crowning glory. And as a mom and a career woman, I owe it to myself to take care of my hair. This is also part of my personal reward in taking up my own ipon challenge. Going back to my Loreal Xtenso Oleoshape Experience. I set an appointment to DOT ZERO Hair Studio via their FB page. Please see the link here. DOT ZERO FB(click send a message and set an appointment) I made an appointment for a 10 am hair rebond and treatment. I went to DOT ZERO Las Pinas branch. It is located at the 2F of the Village Square Alabang, La Fuerza Compound, Alabang Zapote Rd. Brgy. Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City. This is a new mall in the south near BF Standard Las Pinas. I ensure to come early because I know that hair rebonding has a very long and meticulous process.

I want to emphasize that if your hair is not curly, wavy, and frizzy I do not recommend you to get a hair rebond treatment. What you just need is a hair treatment like a Brazillian blowout or a deep conditioning hair treatment. Hair Rebonding is full of chemicals and somehow made my hair brittle plus once you had hair regrowth after a hair rebond you are obliged to a retouch of your hair.

And I am happy and satisfied with their end results and services. They are very meticulous with the whole hair rebonding process. Their stylists take time to check and analyze your hair. They test the main product on your hair before you can actually get your hair rebonded. If after the test your hair resulted in curling and not straightening it means that your hair is extremely damaged and hair rebond is not for your hair. The hair rebond process starts with light hair drying then dividing hair by section and application of Loreal Extenso Oloeshape Oil Smoothing Cream. This was set on my hair for 30 minutes.
Then the smoothing cream was reapplied on my hair focusing on the hair connecting between the hair regrowth and past rebonded hair. According to Angelo my stylist for the day this will ensure that there is unity in the appearance of the old rebonded hair and the regrowth hair. Loreal Smoothing Cream was set for another 30 minutes after that conditioner was applied to my hair for 5 minutes then Ate MJ rinse my hair. This is my favorite part of all my salon visits since this includes scalp massage which relaxes me.
Next was the application of keratin fusion this will give protection for your hair from chemical damage. This was set on my hair for 5 minutes then hair dry and hair steambond . The 1st process was the longest it took 2-3 hours.
Steambond is an innovation by L’oreal Professional with Rowenta Salon Electricals. This is an in-salon straightening and smoothing service that utilizes Steampod, the world’s first heat & high-pressure steam iron that treats the hair while smoothing and delivering a nourishing pro-keratin hair treatment. This steam iron does not burnt our hair or caused any dryness or damage unlike in regular straightening treatments or rebonding.
Step 2 is the application of neutralizer on hair this was set on my hair for 10 minutes. This process seals in all the straightening and shaping of my hair from the cream application and hair steambond then Ate MJ rinse my hair again.
Step 3 is Keratheraphy application for my hair treatment and moisturization. This was set in my hair for 30 minutes then hair dry and hair iron. Keratheraphy is DOT ZERO Hair Studio add on hair treatment to revive my hair's moisture. This treatment softens and deep conditions my hair.
After 6 1/2 hours of treatment application, hair steambond, hair dry, and hair iron this is the masterpiece and end result of Loreal Extenso Oleo Shape with Keratheraphy. What I love about this is my hair is now softer, more manageable, and bouncier. It is not stiff from the usual hair rebonding.

The price is quite expensive but for me, the price is worth it. You just have to save up a portion of your salary on a monthly basis for a period of time so you do not end up broke and cashless.
My whole process of rebond was long. Be prepared with your lunch food and snacks. I brought with me a packed lunch so I do not need to step outside of the salon while doing the Xtenso Oleoshape Rebond. Dot Zero Hair Studio offers complimentary coffee and TWG tea they also have WIFI.

no commercial shampoo with SLE, parabens, sulfate will damage your newly rebonded hair. This will ensure the longevity of your newly rebonded hair. I use Human Nature Shampoo and Conditioner since this is the most affordable and best organic shampoo and conditioner in the market.

do not let your hair get wet by rain or swim in beach, sea, or chlorinated pools because it will definitely ruin your newly rebonded hair.
