2 months ago We visited Hungry Shrimp in BF Resort Las Piñas to celebrate my husband's birthday.
I am a seafood lover. My husband and I used to frequent Dampa Parañaque for take-outs on special occasions. I have been missing so much Dampa Parañaque. It was a heritage of Parañaque with fresh seafood brought from the nearby wet market cooked to your liking.
I recently discovered Hungry Shrimp and put the taste to the test. Here is my review and amazing discoveries on Hungry Shrimp. Their place is small yet cozy perfect for a family gathering or bonding with your friends.
We came early in the morning at its opening hours. The store is quite a hit in the food delivery (Food Panda and Grab Food Express). I saw 3 riders waiting for their take-outs.
While waiting for our food to cook. We happily indulge in our couples' selfie.
I am excited to the taste and savor the food. We tried and sample a bunch from their menu.
We wanted to try their calamari but it was out of stock when We came in the morning. Their food was great considering their super affordable price.
Sweet and Chili Shrimp- I liked this dish so much. The shrimp is fresh and tasty. The sweet and chili sauce is blended well in the shrimps.
Salted Egg Mussels- the salted egg craze definitely hit the food industry with a storm. So I was not surprised Hungry Shrimp has a salted egg dish on their menu. This dish is also good fresh and mouth-watering.
Seafood Kare Kare- One of my favorites in the Hungry Shrimp. The peanut sauce is rich and creamy. Vegetables are cooked just the way I like it crunchy to my bite. This dish has a generous serving of shrimp, mussels, and calamari. Perfectly matched with their yummy bagoong. Oh, this dish so yummy and delicious!
Fried Talong- served with vinegar. You can skip this dish if you will order Kare Kare.
Bangus El Perfecto- nothing special on this dish. This is a plain fried Bangus dish. The fish tasted unfresh. I will not order this again. Maybe Hungry Shrimp can improve on this dish. I was quite disappointed because I read good reviews about this dish so I want to try it with my husband. I want to try a better version of this dish when I came back to Hungry Shrimp someday.
Their price is definitely value for money except for the Bangus. Their prices on the menu are super affordable with great servings. You can share it with your friends and family. Here is the sample of their menu.
They have unlimited shrimp and calamari with rice and ice tea for 499 pesos only. Promo is available every day from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Beautiful Chaos on the dining table. Totally satisfied our soul and tummy with the bounty of the sea. My husband and I needed to take a rest and pause to finish all the food.
We are happy with our food bill. Hungry Shrimp serves very affordable food on a good amount of servings. Really good value for your money.
Overall I will recommend Hungry Shrimp to all food lovers and seafood lovers. Their menu is so affordable you can splurge and try to order a lot. I love to visit this restaurant again with my 2 kids.
